CCWA will be hosting its Second Annual CCWA Fall Members Tournament and Cookout on Saturday October 1, 2016
The Tournament will be held from 8:00-2:00. The full list of rules is below. We are following a format similar to last year except no limit on number of anglers per boat and members may fish any body of water they choose as long as they are at the Chassell Boat Launch for weigh in by 2:30. All fish must be alive and released to count.
We will have a cookout at Chassell Boat Launch at 2:30. The cookout is open to all members regardless of whether you fish in the tournament. Please RSVP for the tournament or the cookout by noon on September 30th to help us plan for food.
Tournament Rules - Must be CCWA member to fish (you can sign up for membership day of tournament) - Anglers compete as individuals. - No limit on participating anglers are allowed per boat however all anglers must net their own fish and trolling anglers must select a lines to run as their own for the day. Anglers alternating lines will be disqualified. - Tournament hours are from 8:00 (lines in the water) -2:00 (lines out of the water) - Anglers may fish any body of water they choose but must be at the Chassell boat launch for weigh-in no later than 2:30. - Live release (all fish must be alive and released to count) - Total weight with 3 fish limit. - Michigan fishing rules apply - There is no fee for the tournament and no cash prize.
